Four Supplements I Take Everyday

While I believe whole foods should be our main source of nutrition, supplements can play an important role when it comes to our health and wellness. When considering new supplements, it’s important to look at the ingredients and consult you doctor if you have any questions or concerns. Here are a few supplements I take daily:

  • Probiotics: supports immune system and digestive health. I take Garden of Life probotics and confirmed that this was a good one to take with my doctor

  • Vitamin D: supports bone and blood vessel health, assists in a healthy heart system and boosts immune function. I did a test at Parsley Health and was low in vitamin d, so bought their liquid version here

  • Blood builder: also recommended by my doctor based on some tests at Parsley Health, I take iron supplements. This helps combat fatigue and improves energy levels. I take the MegaFood brand 

  • Collagen: Collagen is found in all of our connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and bones with its purpose being to provide these body parts with their strength, structure and elasticity. Supports skin hair and nail support too. I currently take Vital Proteins
